As a pivotal member of our Platform team, the Platform Software Engineer will be entrusted with the task of conceptualizing, constructing, and transitioning applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform. LONDON
As a Quant Engineer, you’ll be responsible for researching, developing, and maintaining quantitative models and associated IT infrastructure. Tasks range from quantitative finance to statistical learning (machine learning). Your responsibilities include: Designing, building, and delivering robust, production-quality models and code within a unified library. Assisting in the systematic review and ongoing assessment of existing models. Liaising with senior stakeholders to ensure the model meets requirements and aligns with their understanding of associated risks. Delivering high-quality documentation and presentations to support and maintain model and library use.

What You’ll Do: Work on cutting-edge methodologies and technologies for major international clients. Design, prototype, and test quantitative models applied to finance in real-world contexts. Present your work and ideas to audiences with diverse experience and domain knowledge. Engage in all phases of transforming a quantitative idea into a final product or service, from Proof-of-Concept to client deliverables. Contribute as a team member, requiring a blend of hard and soft skills for success. Stakeholder Management / Leadership: Facilitate and challenge discussions with senior stakeholders. Gather and document model requirements. Communicate model development progress, attend regular working groups, and escalate risks and issues to senior stakeholders. Communicate and explain model results to stakeholders.

You Bring: Postgraduate degree in a highly quantitative discipline. Excellent communication skills; fluency in English. Ability to deliver on tight deadlines for quantitative projects. Proficiency in Python (preferred), R, or MATLAB (Java is a plus). Good understanding of statistical and econometric modeling techniques, including time series analysis, regression models, and various estimation techniques, machine learning. 

Preferred: PhD in a highly quantitative discipline. Experience in designing and developing statistical, econometric, and machine learning models. Analyzing large volumes of data, including cleaning, pattern identification, and clustering. Knowledge of financial markets and products. Experience with trading software (Murex, Front Arena, FIS).
